A1664 is a 16-channel common-anode IC for premium LED displays.
Its PWM+PAM hybrid architecture delivers precision, high refresh, low power and superior image quality for rental, XR, fixed-install and cinema displays.
Our PWM+PAM hybrid dimming provides peak brightness in bright zones and optimized low‑gray turn‑on, bringing high precision, ultra-high refresh, low power and superior image quality.
We combine 16-bit PWM plus 4-bit PAM to get 20-bit grayscale.
Traditional ICND30XX has weak low-gray performance, prone to banding, and faces a conflict between refresh and grayscale.
Our A1664 supports native 20-bit grayscale on-chip. With 4-bit PAM compensation, it balances scan rate and grayscale, and keeps great gray performance at high refresh.
Below: A1664 Rental Display: Key Metrics & Advantages, compared with MBI5264.
A1664 delivers flexible low-brightness refresh. It features 240Hz low-gray refresh by default, up to 960Hz.
Unlike ICND30XX, no grayscale compromise is needed. With PAM, we maintain high refresh at low brightness without losing grayscale.
A1664 supports a standard refresh rate of 7680Hz and can hit up to 30720Hz.
It is hard for ICND30XX to reach 7680Hz or 15360Hz.
A1664 achieves ±1.25% current accuracy between ICs and channels, better than ICND30XX’s ±1.5%.
It minimizes color blocking and delivers superior uniformity especially at low brightness.
A1664 supports 0.1–20mA current range with stable output from 3.3V to 5.5V. It enables finer low-current adjustment for precise single-gray brightness control.
Built on advanced process, A1664 cuts IC power consumption by around 30% versus traditional PWM, delivering better thermal and power management.
A1664 integrates white-balance resistors inside the IC. Combined with software adjustment, it supports flexible tuning, simplifies design and eases production.
